ORFORD GENERAL STORE HOLIDAY BUNGALOW

We are delighted to announce the arrival of our very own holiday bungalow, here in Orford. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, this delightful one-bedroomed bungalow is an ideal rural retreat, and conveniently positioned to access all the amenities and attractions that Orford has to offer, including Orford Castle, Orford Quay, Orford Ness, and our wonderful countryside and coast. With all this readily available upon your doorstep, you may never want to leave!

With its plethora of award-winning food retailers and producers within Orford too, you will be spoilt for choice, and includes not only our own store, but also Pump Street Bakery, Pump Street Chocolate, Pinneys, The Butley Orford Oysterage, The Lady Florence, The Crown & Castle Hotel, and our two amazing welcoming hostelries, The Jolly Sailor and The Kings Head. We even have Orfords' own country market, purveying food fresh from field to fork, as well as locally produced home-made fare, and seasonal catch of fresh locally caught fish.

This enchanting bungalow is furnished with a newly-fitted contemporary kitchen, complete with built-in washing machine and dishwasher, and is located for convenient access to the rear garden.

The lounge is fitted with a newly-installed log-burner, perfect for cosy evenings in, and is furnished in an engaging, characterful, ecclectic, vibrant style, with double french-doors overlooking the garden. A separate dining room/office is also provided.

The bedroom is fitted with a retro king-sized bed, perfect for a goods nights sleep, and/or lazy mornings relaxing, whilst the bathroom has a newly-installed suite, featuring an L-shaped bath, and a modern vanity unit with a built-in sink.

The rear garden is fenced and secure, (ideal for those wishing to bring along their canine companions,) and provides an idyllic setting for alfresco dining during the summer months, enjoying all the outstanding produce and provisions that Orford so readily supplies.

To the front of the property is a small lawned area, and off-road parking for one vehicle. All bed-linen and towels are supplied, as is an initial basket of firewood, (further supplies are available to purchase from our store.) A welcome pack is also provided upon arrival. Dogs are made very welcome.
